Jewish Education Council Director
The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle seeks a Director of its Jewish Education Council. The JEC Director is responsible for: Guiding the vision and the plan for Jewish education in the Greater Seattle area; implementing policy and setting direction and tone for the actualization of the Federation mission; hiring, supervising, mentoring professional and support staff; planning, supervising and monitoring all projects and programs; creating and overseeing budget; staffing and working in partnership with JEC board, lay leaders and all lay committees. Applicants must have background in Jewish education, excellent interpersonal, writing and public speaking skills, be comfortable working with diverse populations, have fundraising experience, demonstrate ability to attract volunteers and leaders, ability to establish strategic partnerships, live and model Jewish values.
