Francine Anne Winston and Steven Kenneth Weiss were married Aug. 1 at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento. Rabbi Jacob Traub officiated.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Cal State Chico and a master’s degree in human resources from Chapman University. She is a human resources coordinator for a nonprofit organization in San Mateo. She is the daughter of Carole and John Winston of Sacramento. She is the sister of Benjamin Winston of San Francisco and Jennifer Winston of Sacramento. Grandparents are Rose Kramsky of Sacramento, the late Meyer Kramsky, and the late Pearl and Irving Winston.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in computer science and applied mathematics from U.C. Berkeley and a master’s degree in computer science from Cornell University. He is a software engineer at a startup in Redwood Shores. He is the son of Sally and Samuel Weiss of San Francisco. He is the brother of Amy Weiss of San Francisco and Philip (and Eileen) Weiss of Sherman Oaks. Grandparents are Tauba Weiss of San Francisco, the late Morris Weiss and the late Judy and Sam Waserman.

Bridesmaids were Jennifer Winston, Amy Weiss and Rachel Korzenny. Groomsmen were Philip Weiss, Reid Greenberg and Benjamin Winston.

After a honeymoon in Europe, the couple is residing in Foster City.
