The bride received her degree from U.C. Santa Barbara and has worked in perinatal education at California Pacific Medical Center. She is the daughter of Fran Levy of Sacramento and Keith Levy of Sacramento. She is the sister of Jeffrey Levy. Grandparents are Evelyn and Dr. Sydney Wasserman of Long Beach and Bette and Arthur Levy of Woodland Hills. Her husband, a fifth-generation San Franciscan, is in his first year of rabbinical studies at the Hebrew Union College Institute of Religion in Israel. He previously worked as a financial analyst at Stone & Youngberg LLC in San Francisco. He is the son of Rhoda and Peter Samuels. Grandparents are Hannah G. Samuels of San Francisco, the late Albert S. Samuels and the late Esther and Jack Siegel. He is the brother of Rachel Goldberg of New York. After their year in Israel, the couple will live in Los Angeles where Joshua will continue his rabbinical studies at Hebrew Union College. Melanie Beth Lenat and Lawrence Bradley Fisher were married May 29 at De la Montanya Winery in Healdsburg. The bride’s uncle, David Neumann, officiated. The bride and groom both received their degrees from U.C. Santa Cruz, where they met. The bride is involved in event planning and tourism in Sonoma County. She is the daughter of Ally and Rick Lenat of San Mateo and Gail Richard of Healdsburg. Grandparents are Myrtle and the late Samuel Lenat of San Mateo and Pauline and Leonard Neumann of Cloverdale. She is the sister of Zachary Lenat. Her husband is the son of Rosalie Fisher of Irvine and Teddy Fisher of Hyampom. Grandparents are the late Judith and Nathan Sherksne and Rose and Joe Fisher, all of Johannnesburg, South Africa. He is the brother of Jo Ann Lapin of Tustin and Saul Fisher of Irvine. The couple, both avid outdoor enthusiasts, will live in Bend, Ore. Susanne Nicole Ross and George Yury Revutsky were married June 19 at Congregation Beth Sholom in San Francisco. Rabbi Alan Lew officiated. The bride is a program officer at Northern California Grantmakers. She received her bachelor’s degree in international relations and history from Claremont McKenna College and her master’s in public policy studies from Johns Hopkins University. She is the daughter of Renee and Dennis Ross of Moraga, the sister of Michele Hofherr and the aunt of Samantha Hofherr. Her husband is the owner and CEO of ROI.works Marketing Communications, Inc. He is the co-founder of Adoptions and Aid International, an organization that places orphaned children from abroad with U.S. families and provides aid to orphanages. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science, with an emphasis in international relations, from Pomona College. He is the son of Diana and Yefim Revutsky of Walnut Creek, the brother of Lev Revutsky and the uncle of Maria Revutsky. After a honeymoon in Kauai, the couple is living in San Francisco. Julie Sager and David Iskowitz were married at the Fairmont Hotel Venetian Room in San Francisco on May 31, 2004. Rabbi Sincha Rosenblatt, the rosh yeshiva of Yeshivot Zichron David, officiated. Dinner and dancing at the hotel’s Gold Room followed. The bride, a native San Franciscan, received her degree with honors from UCLA and her master’s degree in educational administration and supervision from Loyola University in Chicago. She is the daughter of Karen and Steven Sager of Larkspur. Grandparents are the late Evelyn Gilbert, the late Harry Abramovitz, the late Abe Gilbert and Sara and Martin Sager of Miami Beach, Fla. Her husband received his degree in finance from Touro University in New York. He is currently attending a double master’s program in business administration and real estate at USC. He is the son of Dina and Moishe Iskowitz of Brooklyn. Grandparents are Gizella and Yidu Reichman of Brooklyn and Gizella and Yaacov Iskowitz of Brooklyn. Attendants of the bride and groom were their siblings and their spouses: Adam and Stacey Sager, Yanky Iskowitz, Suri and Ari Weinreb, Yossi Iskowitz, Feige Iskowitz, Yehuda Weinreb and Atara Weinreb.
