Roger and Helene Delpy of Saint-Sylvestre-Pragoulin, France, and Joel and Toni Adler of Atlanta, Ga., announce the marriage of their children, Fabienne Chanah Delpy and Samuel Nathan Adler. The ceremony was held on July 17, 2005, on Treasure Island in San Francisco, with Rabbi Shlomo Zarchi officiating.

Also participating in the wedding were Rabbi Philip Kranz and Rabbi Gedalia Potash.

The bride is the grand daughter of the late Achille and Denise Colle of Ruynes-en-Margeride, and the late Joseph and Marie Delpy, who lived in Vedrines-Saint-Loup, France. She received a master’s degree in art history from the Ecole du Louvre, and is currently a doctoral student in the art history and film studies department at Stanford University.

The groom is the grandson of the late David and Minnie Adler of Hattiesburg, Miss., and the late Milton and Miriam Rubinow, who lived in Sarasota, Fla. He received bachelor degrees in French and business administration from Washington University and is currently director of sales for LegalMatch.

Following a honeymoon in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, the couple lives in San Francisco.

Nancy Franklin and Joel Pargot were married Sunday, Sept. 4, at Cline Cellars in Sonoma.

Rabbi George Nudell of Congregation Beth Israel of Scotch Plains, N.J., officiated. The maid of honor was sister of the bride, Lauren Karp and the bridesmaid was Tamara Shorr, cousin of the bride. Best man was Christopher Manos.

The bride is a financial representative at Fidelity Investments. She received her bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She is the daughter of Susan and Michael Franklin of San Francisco. Grandparents are Beatrice and the late Saul Morris of Boca Raton, Fla., Rosalie and the late Samuel Friedman of Convent Station, N.J. She is the sister of Lauren and (Adam) Karp of New York.

Her husband is a senior data coordinator at CNET.com. He received his bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. He is the son of Barbara and Lawrence Pargot of Westfield, N.J. Grandparents are the late Clara and Philip Pargot of Sunny Isles, Fla., and the late Anne Cooper of Israel and Joseph Cooper of New Jersey.

After a honeymoon in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, the couple now lives in San Francisco.
