Various commemorations marking the anniversary of his death will be held in the Bay Area. Politician, army general, winner of the Nobel peace Prize and the first Israeli-born prime minister, Rabin was assassinated Nov. 4, 1995. Congregation Emanu-El will hold a musical tribute and Knesset member Avshalom “Abu” Vilan will speak at a memorial lecture 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 Lake St., S.F.
