Peg Krome and David Gaskill were married at Congregation Beth Am, Los Altos on Sunday, September 18, 2005. They have been together for 3 years since their beshert meeting in the Havdallah Circle at the annual Asilomar synagogue retreat three years ago. As both had lost spouses to early death after long illness, it was a time of great joy and celebration under the chuppah.

Sharon Papo and Amber Weiss were married August 7, 2005 in Santa Cruz. Rabbi Paula Marcus and Rabbi Lavey Derby officiated.

Sharon is a counselor at the Santa Cruz Community Center and is the program coordinator for a GLBT youth program. She is a teacher at Congregation Beth David’s Hebrew High School. Sharon has a B.A. in Women’s Studies from U.C. Santa Cruz. She is an alumni of the Ti-ke-a fellowship of the San Francisco Bureau of Jewish Education. Sharon is the daughter of Michael and Dorothy Papo, and the sister of Joel and Dara Papo. Grandparents are Beatrice Papo, and the late Joseph Papo of San Jose, and the late Leisle and Irwin Fisher of Redwood City.

Amber is an acupuncturist and herbalist and co-founder of the Aloha Acupuncture Clinic in Soquel. Amber received her B.A. in psychology at Stanford University and her M.A. in Chinese Medicine at Five Branches Institute. Amber is the daughter of Patti and David Weiss. They met 2.5 years ago at a Dennis Kucinich campaign event and are currently living in Santa Cruz.
