Eileen Auerbach and Larry Burgheimer of San Francisco, announce the engagement of their daughter Becky Elana Burgheimer of San Francisco to Daniel Buckwald, son of Robert and Susan Buckwald of Ramat Yishai, Israel. Becky completed her Bachelor’s degree with high honors at UC Santa Barbara in Religious Studies and Master’s degree with honors in Cultural Anthropology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is currently the San Francisco director of the Jewish Coalition for Literacy. Dani holds a Bachelor’s degree in design and illustration from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and is a freelance graphic artist and Hebrew and art teacher in San Francisco. Eileen, Bob, and Sue are all Minneapolis natives and school-age friends. Larry is formerly of Kansas City. An August 2006 wedding in Israel is planned with a reception to follow in San Francisco in October 2006.
