Esther Augarten in Palo Alto, May 5, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Harry Augarten. Loving mother of Rhoda (Jess) Novick and Aaron (Velda) Augarten. Devoted grandmother of Harris (Christy) and Jocelyn Novick, Marcy (Andrew) Greenberg and Kevin (Teri) and Michael (Kim) Augarten. Dear great-grandmother of Shaina Emma and Marcus Carter Greenberg and Kirra Augarten. Loving sister of Harry (Lillian) Kirshenbaum and sister-in-law of Martha, Miriam and Bea Kirshenbaum. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A founder of the Senior Group of the Albert Schultz Jewish Community Center of Palo Alto and member of Congregation Kol Emeth. Funeral services and interment were held Monday, May 8 at Hills of Eternity Memorial Park, Colma.

Susi Adler passed away April 1, 2006. A native of Eltville, Germany, aged 86. Wife of the late Herbert Adler. Sister of the late Irma Stern and the late Karl Bach. Mother of Nancy Cerri (Daniel) and Jeffrey Adler (Michelle Caugant). Beloved and devoted grandmother of Joseph and Andrew Cerri and Matthew and David Adler. Susi was a talented seamstress, excellent knitter and avid bridge player. Please make any donations to a charity of your choice.
