She received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Davis. She is the daughter of Louis and Mary Hakimi of Davis, California; the sister of Alan Hakimi and Rachel Stone, and the aunt of Lilian Hakimi of Corte Madera; the sister of Carol and Kevin Gelbard, and the aunt of Jackson Gelbard of Los Angeles. Her fiancé is an attorney with Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold, and specializes in labor and employment law. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Duke University, and a JD from the University of San Francisco. He is the son of Alan and Ivis Westheimer, of Houston, Texas. He is the brother of Rachel and Adrian Vojvodic, and the uncle of Katie Vojvodic of Houston; the brother of Garth Phillips and Kit Morris of San Francisco, and of Gavin Rouleau and Crystal Boese of Denver. An October wedding is planned in San Francisco.
