Rachel Ellen Schick, 25, and Jason Frederick Burge, 26, were married on January 7, 2006 at Temple Isaiah in Lafayette by Rabbi Roberto Graetz. The reception was held at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton.

Rachel Schick is the daughter of Daniel and Dori Schick of Walnut Creek.

She received a degree in Journalism from the University of Arizona and presently works for Nolo Press in Berkeley.

Jason Burge is the son of Michael and Kathy Burge of Lafayette.

He received a degree in Gerontology from USC and a medical degree from Touro University. He is a resident in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Hospital in Oakland.

The couple resides in Oakland, California.
