Shoshana Irit Kane and Stephen Aaron Silver have announced their engagement.
Shoshana, a San Francisco native, is the daughter of Judith Kane (of blessed memory) of San Francisco and Philip (and Ros) Kane of Beaverton, Ore. She is the sister of Lee Kane (and Gina Rosito) of Mill Valley. Stephen, originally from the Washington, D.C., area, is the son of Samuel (of blessed memory) and Phoebe Silver of Concord, and the nephew of Ruth and Joe Starr of Millbrae.
Shoshana graduated from the University of San Francisco with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and is a nurse at California Pacific Medical Center. Stephen has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, a master’s from John F. Kennedy University and a juris doctor from The Ohio State University and is an attorney for the State of California.
Shoshana and Stephen met on the bride-to-be’s birthday, Dec. 23, 2005. They were introduced by Shoshana’s honorary aunt, Rosie Past.
An April 2007 wedding is planned.
