Marcia and Michael Rubenstein of Tiburon and Barbara and Matthew Weinberg of San Francisco are pleased to announce the engagement of Elana Devora Rubenstein and Daniel Justin Weinberg, both of San Francisco. Elana is the granddaughter of Jerrie Rubenstein Wacholder of Mill Valley, and Daniel is the grandson of Blanche Weinberg of Rancho Palos Verdes.

Elana is the sister of Lisa Bretones of Evanston, Illinois, Jennifer Golbus of San Rafael and Ashley Gould of San Francisco. Daniel is the brother of Mark Weinberg of Los Angeles.

Elana graduated with Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from Southern Oregon University. She is a graphic designer for VMware, Inc. in Palo Alto. Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and received his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. He is an attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in Menlo Park.

Elana and Daniel are planning a wedding at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco on January 19, 2008.
