Joshua Regal becomes a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008 at Congregation Beth Emek in Pleasanton. Joshua is the son of Karen and Michael Regal, and the brother to Emily. He attends Pleasanton Middle School and his hobbies are soccer, snowboarding, skateboarding, swimming and video games.

For his Mitzvah project, Josh is spending time volunteering in the community. Josh assisted at the Children’s Art Festival in Pleasanton, and currently volunteers at the Open Heart Kitchen in Pleasanton, serving meals to senior citizens.
