Correspondent | February 13, 2009 Strictly Business, an awards luncheon honoring outstanding employees and employers in the Bay Area, will be held in April at the San Francisco Mariott. Jewish Vocational Service’s annual event honors JVS employees who have overcome obstacles to succeed in the workplace, and forward-thinking employers who have committed to helping JVS transform lives through work. Event co-chairs are: San Francisco Giants president Larry Baer; Carrie Schwab Pomerantz, chief strategist, consumer education for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., and president of the Charles Schwab Foundation; and Richard Fried, managing member of Farallon Capital Management, L.L.C.
