Renelle and Barry Harris of Foster City announce the engagement of their son Daniel Scott Harris to Anne Marie Pickering of Pueblo, Colorado.
Danny graduated from Hillsdale High School in San Mateo and then earned a BA from U.C. Santa Barbara in Communications with a minor in Sports Management. He works for an Internet company called PowerReviews, which specializes in online product reviews. He has a sister, Jennifer Harris, who lives in Los Angeles and a grandfather, Stanley Forrest, in San Carlos.
Anne is the daughter of Elizabeth and Duane Pickering in Pueblo, Colo. She graduated from South High School in Pueblo, and then received a degree in Kinesiology from Southwestern University (Georgetown, Texas). She also spent four years in the U.S. Army. Anne is a Health Physicist for NeoVista, Inc. in Fremont. She has a sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Ray Budisavijevic, and four nieces and nephews in Pueblo.
Anne and Danny love traveling, working out and live music. They will marry in Breckenridge, Colo., in September and then honeymoon at the end of the year in South America.
