“The Road to Recovery: How Long?” is the topic of a talk at the next Business Leadership Circle of the Jewish Community Federation of the Greater East Bay. The meeting takes place Nov. 2 at the Oakland Rotunda, with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. and the program at 6:30 p.m.

The featured speaker will be Ken Rosen, chairman of Rosen Consulting Group, a real estate market research firm, and Rosen Real Estate Securities, a REIT money manager with more than $300 million in assets under management. Rosen is chairman of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics and professor emeritus at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

The Business Leadership Council offers educational and networking opportunities for individuals, while raising money for the East Bay federation. BLC members make a minimum tax-deductible gift of $1,000 to the federation’s annual campaign.

The Rotunda is located at 300 Frank Ogawa Plaza, on the south side of the plaza opposite Oakland City Hall. Tickets are $54 per person; RSVP by calling Talya at (510) 318-6449 or e-mail [email protected].
