Israeli-born Hebrew teacher Orna Morad, a fixture at the JCC and other Jewish institutions for many years, will teach all classes — held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily in five-day sessions. Co-sponsored by the Oshman Family JCC and the Peninsula JCC, the ulpan is located at the Oshman Family JCC, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. Tuition ranges from $450-$575. For information, call (650) 223-8602 or visit www.paloaltojcc.org. For those closer to San Francisco, an intensive Hebrew immersion program is available for students of all ages at University of San Francisco. Classes meet weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 12-30.
