Correspondent | January 14, 2011 Human rights activist Natan Sharansky, internationally known singer-songwriter Regina Spektor and opera singer George Komsky will headline Jewish Family and Children’s Services 10th annual Émigré Community Gala at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 29. The event, which takes place at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, kicks off with an auction and appetizers followed by a meal of European-style food. A program with Sharansky and KGO radio talk show host John Rothmann starts at 8 p.m. Spektor, a Russian émigré who lives in New York, and “America’s Got Talent” finalist Komsky, whose family moved from the Soviet Union to the Bay Area when he was 3, will end the night with live entertainment.
