Deaths

Kay Carol Leeb, called Kacie by all who knew her, died on July 14, 2011 in Burlingame, CA at 68 years old.

Kacie was born on July 18, 1942 in San Francisco to Carol and Ferd Lachman. She was the youngest of three siblings; sister to Lynne Loesch and Steven Lachman. She is survived by her daughters, Ellen Fellenz and Aimee Pearson; sons-in-law, Tom Fellenz and Lee Pearson; and her cherished grandchildren, Ben Fellenz and Ella Pearson. Her nieces, nephews and countless life-long friends mourn her death.

Kacie graduated from George Washington High School in the fall class of 1959. She received her AA degree from San Francisco City College in 1962. For 16 years she worked for the Peninsula Pediatric Group in San Mateo. She was a longtime participant in the Peninsula Musical Theatre and Notre Dame de Namur’s production of “A Christmas Carol,” a valued part of the Peninsula Temple Sholom community, a member of the Children’s Drama Group, a volunteer for the Jewish Family and Children’s Services Parent’s Place, and a recent member of the Lion’s Club.

Kacie lived for the next party. She loved the theater, musicals, working with children, and enjoying time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

As per her wishes, Kacie’s remains will rest with her grandparents, parents and beloved aunt at Hills of Eternity Memorial Park in Colma, CA.
