Correspondent | November 18, 2011 The Jewish Sports Hall of Fame of Northern California will present its second annual Golden Bagel Awards, honoring four individuals for their contributions to the local sports scene. The event takes place at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 11 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Being honored this year are Maccabi Games coach Peter Pollat, former San Francisco Supervisor Quentin Kopp (who spearheaded construction of the sports complex at City College of San Francisco), high school varsity basketball and Maccabi Games coach Barry Kleiman and youth golf instructor Dan Weiner.
