Bernice Gutterman

In San Francisco at age 89. Beloved wife of the late Robert Gutterman; loving mother of Alan (Kathy) Gutterman; adored grandmother of David, Brian, Steven and Spencer Gutterman; revered aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Bernice had a passion for volunteering and enthusiastically enjoyed her years of work as a docent at Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco and at various hospitals in her community. She also was a great help and support for her husband’s long pharmacy career.
The family would also like to acknowledge with great appreciation the kind and gentle care of Bernice’s caregiver, Yolanda Chavez.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Home of Peace Cemetery, Colma. Donations to Congregation Emanu-El’s Sisterhood, preferred.
