Correspondent | February 17, 2012 Women’s Philanthropy, a part of the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund, held its annual Power of One fundraiser this week. The event featured keynote speaker Geri Palast, managing director of the Israel Action Network, an agency that seeks to counter the assault on Israel’s legitimacy and advocates for a two-state solution. This year’s recipient of the Judith Chapman Memorial Leadership award, Lynn Bunim, was honored for her leadership in the community. This year’s theme was dor l’ dor (generation to generation) and was represented by the multi-generational board of Women’s Philanthropy and its goal to empower women of all ages.
