Dial ‘S’ for Super
For more than 30 years, the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation has held its Super Sunday phonathon to raise money for Jews locally, in Israel and around the world. On March 11, volunteers will come together and devote the entire day to making phone calls, embodying the values of tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (repairing the world). Want to help out? Bring positive energy and a cellphone. Don’t forget the charger!
