Correspondent | March 2, 2012 Three East Bay agencies are teaming up on a series of workshops designed to help people who are concerned about caring for their aging parents. Berkeley-based Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the East Bay, the Reutlinger Community for Jewish Living in Danville and AgeSong are offering workshops March 13 in Oakland, April 10 in Lafayette and May 3 in Berkeley. The content will be the same at each. Questions to be addressed include: Are you worried about your parents living safely? How does one plan for care giving, whether it’s local or long distance? Are your parents considering moving closer? Speakers will include JFCS/East Bay geriatric professionals Rita Clancy and Barbi Jo Stim.
