Harmony in conflict
Grammy Award–winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer will debut a piece by Israeli American Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Shulamit Ran (pictured). “Credo/ani ma’amin” recalls the Holocaust and the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. Chanticleer will perform the piece as one of four compositions in “What Do You Think I Fought For?” –– reflections on combatants, observers and victims.
