Correspondent | April 13, 2012 The makers of a documentary about a Jewish teen from San Francisco who embarks on a mission to send baseball equipment to Cuba as part of his bar mitzvah project are holding a party to help raise funds for the film. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Sports Basement, 1590 Bryant St., S.F. There will be a raffle as well as food, Cuban music and clips from the forthcoming “Got Balz?” by filmmakers Marcia Jarmel and Ken Schneider about their son, Mica. Admission is free.
