Correspondent | April 20, 2012 Natalie Berg of San Francisco has been selected as the 2012 recipient of the International Association of Jewish Vocational Services’ Distinguished Service Award. Natalie Berg Berg, who serves as board president of Jewish Vocational Service in San Francisco, will receive the award April 23 at the IAJVS conference in Houston. A City College of San Francisco board member since 1997, Berg has served in a variety of instructional and administrative positions at CCSF. Last July she was appointed by the governor to the State Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges. She has been involved with numerous civic and service organizations, including serving on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Northern California. In addition to honoring Berg, the IAJVS chose the Community Outreach Internship Program as a 2012 program award winner. JVS, in partnership with the University of California San Francisco, recruits and trains low-income San Francisco parents for administrative positions within the UCSF system. J.
