A traveling display titled “Israel Matters” will be set up at U.C. Santa Cruz for several hours on Tuesday, May 29. The 16-panel display — with each panel standing 7-feet — has been created by StandWithUs and is being taken around to various colleges and festivals.

“Israel Matters” was at Stanford University on May 7, and has been on display at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, Cal State University Los Angeles and U.C. Santa Barbara, as well as three Israel Independence Day festivals. Some stops were timed to counter appearances of the “apartheid wall.”

The panels tell Israel’s story through photographs and facts. The appearance at U.C. Santa Cruz will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Quarry Plaza, near the Bay Tree Bookstore, in conjunction with Israel Fest. The festival will include Israeli music and falafel.
