On August 1, 2012 Zoe Kahn and Richard Stein “eloped” and were married in Incline Village, Nevada. Zoe is the mother of Cary (Laura) Rosenzweig of Palo Alto, David Rosenzweig of Napa Valley, and Julie (Alastair) Paulin of Motueka, New Zealand. She is also the proud “Bubbie” of Adam Rosenzweig of Palo Alto; Maxwell, Benjamin and Tobias Paulin of New Zealand.

Richard is the father of Joshua (Cathy) Stein of Napa Valley. He is the proud “Pop” of Arlo and Leyna Stein of Napa Valley. Zoe is the co-founder of the Jewish Historical Society of Napa Valley. She is very involved in the Jewish community in Napa Valley and is Vice President of Public Relations and Communication for Congregation Beth Shalom of Napa Valley.

Richard is retired and is the founder of the “Mensch Club” of Congregation Beth Shalom. He continues to spend time fly-fishing, wood-carving and trying all the great restaurants in Napa Valley.

They make their home in Napa Valley and plan on taking a delayed honeymoon to Alaska this summer. Part of it will be fishing!
