Correspondent | January 18, 2013 An informational session on the 12th annual Special Needs Family Camp at URJ Camp Newman will be held 7 p.m. Jan. 23 at Temple Beth Abraham in Oakland. The weekend camp welcomes families who have children with autism, Asperger’s Syndrome or other developmental, physical or cognitive challenges. Family campers celebrate Shabbat and participate in a variety of activities, including singing and dancing. This year’s camp takes place May 3 to 5.
