Hebrew Free Loan, a S.F.-based agency that provides interest-free loans, will celebrate 115 years of service to the Bay Area Jewish community with a June 9 gala at the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco.

Dubbing the evening “Supporting the Individual, Strengthening the Community,” the agency will honor three community members who have worked to strengthen HFLA: past president Arlene Krieger; Rabbi Steven Chester, rabbi emeritus of Oakland’s Temple Sinai; and Karen Goldberg, owner of Tamalpie Pizza in Mill Valley and a former Hebrew Free Loan business loan recipient.

Raffle prizes include a 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid or $25,000 cash. Other prizes include hotel packages and jewelry. Raffle tickets are $25 or five for $100.

The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. June 9, at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco. Tickets to the dinner start at $180. To purchase raffle tickets, call Jordan Gill, (415) 546-9902 ext. 106. For more information, visit www.hflasf.org.
