Shul crawl for Shavuot Shavuot marks the day God gave the Torah to the Jewish people atop Mount Sinai. A number of celebrations will be held Tuesday, May 14 in the Bay Area, including all-night study sessions. One highlight is “Shavuot Corridor Crawl,” a progressive Torah study in San Francisco beginning at Congregation Sherith Israel, with five stops along the way. Sonoma County Tikkun Leil Shavuot. First communitywide late-night study session. At Congregation Beth Ami, 4676 Mayette Ave., Santa Rosa. 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Free.

Community Tikkun Leil Shavuot. All-night study session with programming for ages 2-12 from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. At JCC East Bay, 1414 Walnut St., Berkeley. 6:15 p.m. to 8 a.m. Free.

“Shavuot Corridor Crawl.” A progressive Torah study in San Francisco from synagogue to synagogue with five stops, beginning at Congregation Sherith Israel and ending at Congregation Beth Sholom. 6 p.m. to midnight. All study sessions free.

Tikkun Leil Shavuot. Evening of community learning and cheesecake. At Congregation B’nai Shalom, 74 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek. 7 to 11 p.m. Free.
