An AIPAC pro-Israel community caucus featuring Rep. Eric Swalwell (D–East Bay) is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 at Temple Isaiah in Lafayette.
Swalwell, a freshman member of the House of Representatives, recently returned from a trip to Israel with the American Israel Educa-tion Foundation. A 1999 graduate of Dublin High School, he is California’s youngest member of Congress at age 32.
He is expected to discuss issues affecting U.S.-Israel relations, Israel’s security and efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons capability.
