Silver are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Sophie Jerusha Rose Silver, in San Francisco on August 24, 2012. Sophie was lovingly named in memory of Stephen’s parents, Sam and Phoebe Rose Silver, and grandmother, Sophie Korn. Her middle names also honor Shoshana’s mother, Judith L. Kane, and great-grandmother, Rose Ceboolsky, along with Stephen’s uncle, aunt and sister, Joe and Ruth Starr and Sharon Silver. Also celebrating Sophie’s birth are her brother, Samuel Jared “Sammy” Silver; maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Philip and Ros Kane of Beaverton, Oregon; Uncle Lee Kane and Aunt Gina Rosito of Mill Valley; and family and friends.
