Tahunia Rubel, 25, won the 1 million shekel prize, worth about $274,000, on Aug. 27. Many conflicts surrounded Rubel, including some dealing with race and ethnic identity. Some of the racial conflict reportedly caused two other contestants, a father and son, to be disqualified.
