‘Harmony for Humanity’. A musical performance for the 12th annual Daniel Pearl World Music Days festival will honor the life and memory of the Jewish Wall Street Journal reporter, musician and Stanford alum who was slain in 2002. Student musicians and guest pianist Pedja Muzijevic will perform at the show, one of more than 2,000 taking place in some 80 countries in October to promote tolerance. 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 at Stanford’s Memorial Church, 537 Lomita Mall, Stanford. Stories from the heart. Davy Rothbart, a frequent contributor to NPR’s “This American Life,” shares comical and bittersweet stories from his recently released  memoir, “My Heart Is an Idiot,” at the JCCSF.
