News U.S. Anti-Israel ads on Denver buses during JNF conference Facebook Twitter Email SMS WhatsApp Share By J. Correspondent | November 1, 2013 Advertisements accusing Israel of “ethnic cleansing” appeared on Denver-area buses when the Jewish National Fund held its national conference in the city this week. The ads, which included the slogan “Want peace? Stop ethnic cleansing in Palestine,” were sponsored by the website Notaxdollarstoisrael.com and the Colorado BDS Campaign, the Intermountain Jewish News reported. The JNF’s national conference draws thousands of participants. This year’s four-day conference in Denver ran Oct. 25-29. The Anti-Defamation League issued a statement calling the advertisements “inaccurate, inflammatory, and divisive,” though it acknowledged that they constituted protected speech under the First Amendment. — jta J.
