Fans of “The Goldbergs,” kvell away. ABC has announced it is picking up the fledgling comedy for a full season.
While the pilot series, which premiered Sept. 24, received lukewarm reviews from critics, it is averaging 7.5 million weekly viewers. Adam F. Goldberg’s autobiographical sitcom is based on his family life growing up in the ’80s. Jeff Garlin (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) plays his dad. — jta
