The S.F.-based Jewish Community Relations Council, in a joint program with the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation, is hosting “Celebrating Civil Discourse” on Sunday, Dec. 8.
“Please invite two people with whom you politically disagree” suggests a flier for the event, which will mark accomplishments in the three years since the Year of Civil Discourse was launched as a way to elevate Jewish community discussions about Israel.
The program includes Aaron Davidman’s play “Wrestling Jerusalem,” in which he gives voice to more than a dozen Israeli and Palestinian characters. There will also be a facilitated conversation.
