David Alper and Naama Wrightman
Hope and Noah Alper of Berkeley happily announce the engagement of their son David to Naama Wrightman, daughter of Hadassah and Jeff Wrightman of White Plains, N.Y., and granddaughter of Elaine Binder of Suffern, N.Y. The couple met in Israel on the Young Judaea Year Course program in 2006.
David holds a B.A. in geography from the University of Colorado and is currently pursuing an MBA at Baruch College/CUNY. Naama holds a B.A. in international affairs from George Washington University and a master’s in education curriculum and instruction from American University. She is currently the third-grade instructional leader at Leadership Prep Bedford Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, N.Y., and a member of the elementary content team at Relay Graduate School of Education.
The couple are planning a summer 2015 wedding.
