Jewish mothers, nebbishes and “princesses” have graced — and disgraced — the silver screen for decades. “Jewish Life in American Cinema,” a four-part series at the JCCSF, opens with a discussion of these and other stereotypes, with film clips by Jewish directors and actors such as Mel Brooks, Judd Apatow and Barbra Streisand.
