Eat, don’t sleep, study! Sunset-to-sunrise study, blintzes and cheesecake are all on the menu at Shavuot events throughout the Bay Area. Stay for an hour or stay until dawn at Tikkun Leil Shavuot at the JCC East Bay, B’nai Israel Jewish Center in Petaluma or Kol Emeth in Palo Alto. Join the Shavuot California Street Corridor Crawl in San Francisco, or let your kid make a Mount Sinai cupcake at a Chabad of Oakland and Piedmont luncheon. In the Bay Area, there’s more than one way to celebrate the receiving of the Torah.

Shavuot dinner and late-night learning. Dairy buffet dinner followed by study sessions on Torah and Hassidic mysticism. At Chabad of Cole Valley, 1336 Willard St., S.F. 9:15 p.m. to 12 a.m. Free.

Shavuot California Street Corridor Crawl. Celebrate the giving of the Torah by traveling from one synagogue to another for a series of study sessions. 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Free.

Tikkun Leil Shavuot: “Harvest for the Hungry Hearted.” All-night study with rabbis and teachers from Sonoma County, with music and dairy treats. Free child care until 10 p.m. At B’nai Israel Jewish Center, 740 Western Ave., Petaluma. 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Free.

Tikkun Leil Shavuot at Kol Emeth. All-night community learning event, including special events for kids, tots and their parents. At Congregation Kol Emeth, 4175 Manuela Ave., Palo Alto. 8 p.m. to sunrise.

Tikkun Leil Shavuot at Sha’ar Zahav. Shavuot service and Havdallah, followed by dairy potluck dinner and night of study and discussion, including a screening of “Choosing to Be Chosen,” a film about converting to Judaism. At Congregation Sha’ar Zahav, 290 Dolores St., S.F. 7 to 11:30 p.m. Free.

East Bay Community Tikkun Leil Shavuot. 27th annual all-night Torah study session and Shavuot celebration. Child care with sleeping room available. Preregister at At JCC East Bay, 1414 Walnut St., Berkeley. From sundown to sunrise. Free.

Shavuot with the Southside Jewish Collaborative. Celebration with potluck dessert and coffee, Havdallah, two classes centering on the story of Ruth and a concluding service. At Or Shalom Jewish Community, 625 Brotherhood Way, S.F. 7:30 p.m. to 12 a.m.
