Correspondent | May 29, 2015 Debra Sagan Massey Debra Sagan Massey has been named head of school for Tehiyah Day School, a K-8 Jewish day school in El Cerrito. She replaces interim directors Elise Prowse and Mollie Aczel, who took over last summer after the departure of the previous head of school, Bathea James. Massey assumes her new post in July. For the past seven years, Massey has served as director of education at Congregation Beth El in Berkeley. She is also the mother of a first-grader and a fourth-grader at Tehiyah. Massey said she is honored “to continue the vision and values” of Tehiyah as its incoming head of school. “Our unparalleled community of educators, parents and students is inspiring, and I look forward to building our future together.” J.
