Pop-Up Jewish booth to be part of Fairfax Festivals EcoFest Facebook Twitter Email SMS WhatsApp Share By J. Correspondent | June 12, 2015 The 38th annual Fairfax Festival is going to include a bit of Jewish flavor this year — as well as free samples of fair-trade chocolates — at a booth presented by the Osher Marin JCC. “Pop-Up Jewish Marin” is being staged in partnership with Fair Trade Judaica, PJ Library and Kesher Marin. The booth will be up from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14 at the EcoFest Pavilion at Broadway Boulevard and Bank Street. The EcoFest is held alongside the main Fairfax Festival; both are free. At the Jewish booth, visitors will be able to work on a recycled art project, shop for fair-trade goods and learn about the Jewish connection to fair trade. Chocolate samples will be available, but organizers advise stopping by early because supplies are limited. For information, visit www.tinyurl.com/popup-jewish-marin or call (415) 444-8000. J.
