The British dramedy “Dough,” starring Jonathan Pryce as an aging kosher baker and Jerome Holder as his new Muslim apprentice, opens the 18-day San Francisco Jewish Film Festival followed by a post-film bash replete with baked goods at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. With 70 films from 17 countries on the menu, plus sneak previews and special events, the festival will also present the Freedom of Expression award to actress-director Lee Grant.
