The Aug. 30 gathering drew 400 people, according to one of the main organizers, the Western region of the Zionist Association of America. The list included the Russian Speaking Jewish Community of San Francisco, Rimon Club Z, the Jewish National Fund, Americans for a Safe Israel, JCC Watch and StandWithUs. ZOA West executive director David Kadosh and Rabbi Shimon Margolin worked together as organizers. Speakers included political analyst John Rothmann, former state Sen. Quentin Kopp, Jewish National Fund regional executive director Aaron Parker, former federal judge and Hoover fellow Abraham Sofaer, former Israeli soldier Gil Shotan, Kadosh and Margolin.
