Sameya Helen Gewirtz and Nicholas Graydon Pasquale were married on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015 (17 Av, 5765) in Woodside. They were married by Rabbi Janet Marder, senior rabbi of Congregation Beth Am. The couple married under a chuppah made from the tallit that the bride wore at her bat mitzvah. The ceremony and reception were held in the backyard of a dear friend’s home, and the couple were surrounded by their closest friends and family. The best man was their 3-year-old son, Johnny.
The family resides in San Jose. The bride took the groom’s last name and the Pasquale family has already made plans to enlarge their family.
