Adele’s “Hello” and its music video are everywhere. It has 581 million views on YouTube. And now there is a Hanukkah parody, titled — inevitably — “Shalom.” Watch:

Japan’s Imperial Prince Takahito Mikasa turns out to be one of the most interesting people in the world, if this Tablet story is to believed.

After serving in the Japanese army during WWII and witnessing horrors there, he gained permission from Emperor Hirohito to essentially abdicate all of his duties as a royal so he could study his true passion — the Jews. An essay by Rabbi Arnold J. Wolf quoted in the article:

History had brought him — Prince Mikasa — to the Jew, he said, and Judaism had brought him back to himself. For the Jew is not only the father of the West, he is the scion of the Orient.

At a recent rally, when asked by a supporter about his support for Israel, Donald Trump said he will travel to Israel “very soon,” reports the New York Times. AP reports that Trump sees the peace process basically the same way he sees making business deals:

“If you can make that deal, you can make any deal…. It’s probably the toughest deal to make.”
