Correspondent | December 18, 2015 Friends and family from near and far joyfully gathered in a meadow at the Irvine Nature Center in Maryland on Sunday, May 24, 2015 to celebrate the wedding of Claire Schreiber and Lee Gilman. Rabbi Jessica Gross guided the ketubah signing and ceremony under the chuppah. Dinner and dancing followed under a full moon. Claire is the daughter of Penny and Paul Schreiber (Ypsilanti, Michigan) and the sister of Tim Schreiber. Lee is the son of Carol Reif and Jeffrey Gilman (Lafayette, California) and the brother of Chana Gilman. After a honeymoon in Croatia, Claire and Lee are living in Baltimore. Sheila Devore and Seth Skootsky were married on Aug. 16, 2015 (Rosh Hodesh Elul) at Adath Israel Congregation in San Francisco, with Rabbi Joel Landau officiating. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Classic Bowling Center in Daly City. Sheila and Seth grew up in the same Westlake neighborhood and are graduates of Benjamin Franklin Junior High and Westmoor High School (class of 1978). The couple first met in the Temple Judea (later Congregation Beth Israel Judea) religious school, which they attended from pre-K through confirmation.
