Home Wedding
Miss Maybelle Grunbaum and Alvin Schweitzer were married on Sunday afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents on Laguna street. The bride looked most dainty and charming in a blue tailored gown. After a short honeymoon trip Mr. and Mrs. Schweitzer will reside in Napa, where a pretty home is awaiting them.
A Wedding Anniversary
On June 5th, the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. W. Dinkelspiel was the scene of happiness, the occasion being their china wedding day, which was celebrated midst relatives and friends, who all essayed to make the day joyful.
A Dansant Party
In honor of her nieces, the Misses Norma and Beatrice Lichtenstein, Miss Lily Hesser has invited a merry crowd of eighteen for Saturday, the 12th of June, to enjoy the terpsichorean activities at the California building of the Exposition.
A Visit of the Stork
Many friends are congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Hayes Solis Cohen of Philadelphia upon the arrival of a lovely baby girl. Mrs. Cohen will be remembered in San Francisco as the charming Erna Sultan, who was most popular amongst the younger set.
A Pleasant Gathering
The Sigma Delta Sigma Sorority are planning to hold a novel progressive dinner on Wednesday evening, June 16th. As the invitations are limited to members only, the girls are going to don boys’ attire. Among those in charge of the affair are the Misses Beatrice Lichtenstein, Helen Levinson, Katherine Roth and Myrtle Bush.
